Worship Preparation Class
Worship Preparation Class for First and Second Graders
Each fall, first and second graders, who have not previously participated in a Worship Preparation class, are invited to join in an exploration of communal worship entitled “Get Ready! Get Set! Worship!” In this six-week study, children will learn about the sanctuary, the parts of the worship service, and the sacraments of Baptism and Communion. The class will be held during the Extended Session period, immediately following the Children’s Message at the 11:00worship service. At the end of the six-week study the children will participate fully in the corporate worship of the St. Andrew family, including Communion.
If your child will be six years older in the fall, we invite you and encourage you to take advantage of this class. St. Andrew plans for worship attendance for these children and does not offer worship hour child care after the Kindergarten year. Help make your child’s experience of worship a happy and meaningful one by signing him or her up for “Get Ready! Get Set! Worship!”
