Prayer Labyrinth

What is a Prayer Labyrinth?
A prayer labyrinth is a pattern or maze-style pathway designed for an active prayer experience. It has a well defined path to the center with intentional turns designed into it. There are not tricks or dead ends, just a path with a purpose. The church has used prayer labyrinths for centuries with some elaborate designs inlayed on the floors of some European cathedrals such as Chartres in France. What was once an almost forgotten medieval spiritual practice is now quite a popular prayer experience for Twenty-first Century Christians.
