Prayers & Squares
Prayers & Squares: A St. Andrew Mission Project

The purpose of Prayers and Squares is to promote prayer through the use of quilts. Small quilts are made for those persons especially in need of being lifted up in prayer. There are thread ties on the quilt, and members of the congregation are invited to tie a knot with the thread and say a prayer for the recipient.
There are many chapters of Prayers and Squares around the world. St. Andrew Presbyterian Church officially became Chapter number 252 of Prayers and Squares on September 14, 2004 and as of January 2008, we have dedicated151 quilts. Update: As of November 9, 2008 we have dedicated 203 quilts.
